Logan Festher never attends the auctions at Club Spectrum, but what's a Dom to do when the day is just too painful to spend on his own. Besides, he promised his late wife not to mope on her birthdays. What he didn't expect was to find the young girl Elena had been so fond of on the auction stage.
He can't let Lindsey go through with this. Her deception ends tonight, and he will get to the bottom of her odd behavior once and for all.
Lindsey Callan-Brennan has nowhere to hide when Logan wins her for the night. The man she has been secretively in love with for years might be a gentle Dom, but tonight he is all business. Without her disguise Lindsey feels exposed, vulnerable, and above all ugly.
She is damaged goods and Logan's insistence on helping her can only end in heartache for them both. Anything else is the stuff of dreams, surely…

"You'd do well to remember that I own you, little bird."
I don't know about you, but that one line made my insides go squish and my pulse kick up.
In book 5 of The Spectrum Auctions series, AUCTIONED TO THE GENTLE DOM, we are reintroduced to veterinary heartthrob Logan Festher, and meet the lovely Lindsey Callan-Brennan, who, you guessed it, is up on the auction block.
As you will be quick to learn, Logan and Lindsey have a history together. No, not THAT kind of history, given that Logan is nineteen years her senior, but a history. So much so that Logan is quick to bid and win Lindsey at auction. The next twenty-four hours don't go as planned and what ensues is a bit of a tumultuous start to what turns into an electrifying chemistry.
Likes: I really enjoyed Lindsey's internal thoughts. While not a submissive novice, her thoughts and emotions associated with Logan propelled the story along and had me eagerly tapping the pages. Logan is a great character. Bit tortured. And I loved that he's older. And of course, interactions between the other couples from Club Spectrum helped to round out the story.
If you enjoy BDSM stories that are heavy on relationship building, then you definitely want to give The Spectrum Auctions series a go and the good thing about them is that the stories are standalone and really don't need to be read in any particular order. But, I will warn, much like all good things, you won't be able to stop at only one book.
